Deutsche Version weiter unten!
Contrary to my sommon practice, I arrived much too early at the airport today because I assume some discussions at the checkin counter about my 26 kg suitcase and over 20 kg of hand luggage. Apart from that, this air trip starts as usual (see picture). 🙂 But this time, I’m drinking my beer still in the public area and not after the security control because the checkin counter for my flight is still not open.
Pooh, this was close! The baggage drop-off counter where I had to go to was operated by a guy. So the helpfulness of my charm has been somewhat limited. 😉 He accepted the 26,5 kg of my suitcase reluctantly. But then came the question about my „hand“ luggage. „Only my photographic equipment.“ has luckily been the correct password! 🙂 Now I am sitting here in the Lufthansa Lounge – still over one hour until boarding time. So, what to do, except blogging and…. see above…. 🙂
Next stop: Joburg!
Abgesehen davon, dass ich ganz entgegen meinen Gewohnheiten viel zu früh am Flughafen bin, weil ich bei einem 26kg-Koffer und über 20kg Handgepäck mit leichten Diskussionen beim Checkin rechne, startet diese Reise wie alle anderen auch (siehe Foto). 🙂 Nur dass ich mein Bierchen diesmal noch im öffentlichen Bereich und nicht nach der Security-Kontrolle trinke, weil mein Checkin-Schalter noch geschlossen ist.
Puh, das war knapp. Ich kam zur Gepäckabgabe bei einen Mann dran. Da kann ich ja nur bedingt meinen Charme versprühen. 😉 Die 26,5 Kilo meines Koffers hat er sanft zähneknirschend akzeptiert. Dann kam aber doch noch die Frage nach meinem „Hand“-Gepäck. „Nur meine Fotoausrüstung.“ war zum Glück das richtige Passwort! 🙂 Jetzt sitze ich hier – immer noch eine gute Stunde vor dem Boarding – in der Lufthansa Lounge. Und was soll man da wieder machen, außer bloggen und…. na, siehe oben…. 🙂
